The Cookbook Guru for November: The Gourmet Traveller Magazine

New Picture

Welcome to November and the final month of The Cookbook Guru for 2014!

This month we are veering off the trail of cookbooks and heading in to magazine land.  For me The Gourmet Traveller has been a great way to be exposed to glamorous mini cookbook tastes over the years.  Many of Australia’s leading chefs have published and shared recipes from their repertoire and I could think of nothing better to round out the year than giving us all some free rein in the kitchen before we all head into the Christmas cooking season.

For those of you that are not massive readers of this magazine, there is tons of recipes published online, or perhaps take a leaf out of the magazines book and theme it up for the month with French or Italian food or perhaps take a gourmet trip with your taste buds based on a favourite article you’ve read.  As for me, I’m going to be hunting down great salad idea’s with fresh idea’s to get me prepared for this summer.

If you are new to The Cookbook Guru and would like to join in, please do, we love new participants.  All you need to do is link your food posts back to this introduction post via a hyperlink, and just to make sure I get it, paste your link in the comment box, and I’ll reblog your contribution to be a part of the conversation.  Our Cookbook Guru’s love sharing what they create with each other and actively comment and discuss our experiences so we’d love to have you join in the party.

As for December, never fear, there will still be some posts, however we are going to give everyone a rest and revisit some of my favourite recipes and books from the year and launch next years booklist.

Have an amazing time in the kitchen exploring what the Gourmet Traveller has to offer, I can’t wait to see what comes out of your kitchen.
